Stories

  • Tail of Death · 8 pages

Amos Hatter has to take care of his younger scientist brother, Joseph. The mentally deranged Joseph experiments with a growing formula, but finds the opposite and shrinks himself down to mouse size. Amos helps him to regain his normal size, but is murdered by Joseph out of fear to be submitted to a mental institution. The drug wears off, however, and small-sized Joseph has to face a cat and a rat hunting him.

  • Terror On High · 7 pages

Two criminals infiltrate a monastery in the Bavarian Alps, where the bodies of the dead are preserved in its subzero cellar. Ralph and Jerry steal precious gems from the corpses and make their escape to their hide-out cabin. But the ghosts of the robbed come for revenge.

  • The Bony Shadow · 2 pages

John Carstairs reads his obituary in the newspaper but thinks it's a hoax. He remains in denial until he attends his own funeral and sees his dead body in a coffin. He returns home and meets Death who tells him there was a slight mixup but it's now time for him to go.

  • The Clay Coffin · 7 pages

Sculptress Hortense Hollingsworth creates things of beauty, but is homely herself. When husband Grover starts flirting with the new maid, Hortense poisons her and makes her into a statue. She then undergoes plastic surgery in secret and turns up as the new maid. Flirtatious Grover makes advances and is killed in cold blood.

  • The Vengeful Corpse · 7 pages

Fisherman John Penn murders old Silas Barnes for his gold. He dumps the body at sea. Penn panics, however, when the corpse turns up in his fishing net. He murders his crewman Abner, too, because he is eyewitness to the discovery of the body. In the following, Penn is haunted by two ghosts and taken out to sea.
