  • A New Beginning · 8 pages

A professor creates a time machine that will enable him to send a man and woman back to before man existed on Earth. Using the "propagation machine," they could slowly populate the Earth with people far superior to those who would come after, and the evils of the present would be eliminated. When they go back to the prehistoric past, the couple decide that artificial creation of people is wrong and decide to procreate the natural way. The man and woman are named Adam and Eve.

  • The Headhunters · 7 pages

The attendants brought in a crazy, raving man they had found roaming through a park. The doctor gave him a hypo to calm him down, then attached terminals of a diathermy machine to the man's head. After a short while, he was cured of his insanity, although a strange burn mark remained on the man's forehead, just like others before him, and that remained a mystery to the doctor. In truth, the machine would summon tiny spacemen who would land on the victims head (causing the burn mark) and destroy parasitic worm-like creatures inside the patients brain that were causing the madness.

  • Stickum! · 1 pages

An arborist creates a solution that will help trees be able to regrow damaged bark. When he enters a huge red oak tree that has been severely damaged, he applies the solution but the bark grows around him trapping him inside the tree!

  • My World · 6 pages

The narrator explains how he has the ability to create any world and narrative he wants. He does this by showing scenes of tragedy and triumphs. Aliens and humans. Beauty and ugliness. Life and death etc. It turns out that the story is being drawn by Wally Wood.

  • Outcast of the Stars · 7 pages

A poor man longs to fly a rocket into space and show his children the wonders of the universe but cannot afford a rocket. He manages to buy a cheap prototype that can't fly, but uses what little money he has to make it seem like it can fly to impress his children and fill them with wonder.
