Stories

  • Tarzan Guards a Hostage · 15 pages

Tarzan takes his prisoner, King Zugu, through Lutor, bound for Alur. Along the way he contends with Terribs and Jalurian warriors intent on freeing their king.

  • Tarzan and the Pygmy Elephants · 8 pages

After a storm, Tarzan and Boy's canoe is washed up on an unexplored island in the Lake of Mists. They find a tribe of pygmies there who use pygmy elephants as draft animals. Tarzan clears the island of normal-sized baboons and ships them by barge to the mainland.

  • On the Leopard's Trail · 1 pages

Hamasai leads Samai and three hunters to follow the trail of the leopard who had earlier attacked the trader village. Kaino gleefully tags along, wishing only that Mabu could be on the trip with them. Hearing sounds of alarm from baboons, they follow the racket to the edge of a ravine where, on the other side, baboons are throwing rocks and sticks at the leopard below, who has a grasp on a baby baboon. Hamasai assures an excited Kaino that the baboons will handle the situation.

  • Untitled · 6 pages

While the army of Aba-Zulu searches the city's secret passages for Tavane, the brothers interrogate a witch doctor who gives up her location: the Aba-Zulu Cave of the Kings.
