The Blue Boys are asked to take juvenile delinquent Joey Smith under their wing. They rescue Old Man Mosher, who is being held captive in his basement while a gang searches for money they thought was hidden there.

  • Wistful Wally Jones · 6 pages

Wally Jones is about due to inherit a fortune, but only if his good name stays out of the papers. His guardian, who stands to inherit if Wally is besmirched, tries hard to embroil Wally in fights and sexual intrigue, but Sargon steps in and puts matters to rights.

  • Give 'Em the Bird! · 6 pages

Elmer and his pet penguin Flipper are a failed vaudeville act. Crooks try to use them to steal from a rich society affair, but Terry Sloane is in attendance and foils the crooks as Mr. Terrific.

  • Tough Stuff · 2 pages

A stray cat saves a little girl from a snake and is rewarded with adoption.

  • On the Prowl · 8 pages

Ted Grant and Stretch Skinner see a poster for a circus. While there a leopard escapes and Ted, as Wildcat, gets it under control. He decides to oversee the performances, and saves an aerialist from falling to his death, and while veteran employee Carl Rutig forces an escaped lion back into its cage. The would-be saboteur is Jim Malley, whose father was killed in the circus and has set out to get revenge. Wildcat pleads for leniency with the owner, and Malley is 'sentenced' to twelve hours a day washing the elephants.
