Lex sends Supergirl to The Verge to find a device that will allow him to escape his pod city. However, the cities have been notified that their champions must fight each other for their survival. Lady Quark and Lord Volt view Supergirl's intrusion as the beginning of the battle. Supergirl defeats them and then finds that Lex's 'device' is actually Ambush Bug.
