Stories

  • The Chest of Monsters! · 8 pages

Wonder Woman announces a contest which awards the boy or girl who brings the most credit to America three wishes. The young winner, Bonnie -- who saved two children from drowning when their boat capsized during a torrential rainstorm -- uses her first wish to request a visit to Paradise Island, the home of the Amazons.

  • Chest of Monsters, Part Two · 6 pages

On Paradise Island, Bonnie is given an Amazon outfit and is made an honorary Amazon. She gets to watch as the Amazons compete in an obstacle race. When Bonnie wishes to herself that Wonder Woman would be the winner, she realizes she has used one of her wishes. After an afternoon at the beach getting caught up in a waterspout and avoiding sharks, the Amazons return to dry land for Bonnie to make her final wish. She decides she wants to spend time with Wonder Woman when she was Wonder Girl.

  • The Girl with the Curl · 1 pages
  • The Chest of Monsters! [Part Three] · 10.67 pages

Bonnie asks to meet Mer-Boy, so she and Wonder Girl put on Amazon diving suits and go for a dive. Mer-Boy takes them exploring around a sunken ship where he finds a treasure chest and an octopus. Wonder Girl saves him from the octopus and to repay her, he gives her the chest. Inside the chest are metallic insects that expand to gigantic size upon exposure to the air. Wonder Girl takes care of the invading bugs, and Bonnie returns to her own time.
