  • The Witching Hour Part 1 · 38 pages

As a young girl, Diana is magically branded by Hecate, but Hecate makes her believe it was only a dream. In the present, Diana and Zatanna try to convince the Justice League to join them against the threat of the Upside-Down Man and the Otherkind, but Hecate blinds the League to the magical threat. At the Oblivion Bar, Traci Thirteen gathers a sisterhood of magic users, but Hecate seizes control of Witchfire and tries to kill the others. In the Hall of Justice basement, The Justice League Dark discusses the coming threat when Hecate takes control of Wonder Woman through the magic brand.

Publisher’s description

Just in time for Halloween, it’s “The Witching Hour,” a five-part weekly event that will rewrite the future of DC’s magical heroes! Hecate, the witch-goddess of magic, always knew a day would come when the monsters she stole her magic from would return. Now she must activate the Witchmarked, humans within whom she secreted vast stores of power. And the most powerful of the Witchmarked? Wonder Woman!
