Stories

  • Captain America · 10 pages

While Cap lounges around Avengers Mansion, thinking about Bucky and his place in the world, a gang of costumed thugs break in intent on stealing any secrets or weapons Stark may have lying about the place, to sell for profit. They figure Cap's "just an acrobat." They figured wrong! He mops up the place with them single-handed, then comments how lucky they were his partners weren't around... "They're really tough!"

  • If a Hostage Should Die! · 10 pages

In a flashback to World War II, we see how Cap spends a few weeks with Peggy Carter and her resistance fighters.

  • The Living Legend · 22 pages

Cap relives his origin in minute detail.

  • Stop Making Sense · 22 pages

In London, Captain Britain puts Captain America on a jet back to the States. Back home, Jack decides to stop being a freeloader and gets a job as a bag boy at the local market. His shift is interrupted, however, by the zany villainy of Madcap and Jack ducks out to battle the villain as Nomad. His absence does not go unnoticed, however, and he gets fired when he returns to work.
