A Prize of Peril! · 22 pages
After a mix-up in dealing with a meteor shower above Earth results in a near disaster, Superman and Green Lantern compete in a contest set up by the Guardians and Doctor Fate to see which hero should have responsibility for dealing with threats in Earth's atmosphere.

Publisher’s description

Superman and Green Lantern get into a rivalry over their respective powers, and Felix Faust takes the opportunity to masquerade as Doctor Fate, create an illusion of a Guardian of the Universe, and lure both of the heroes into a power test that is actually a trap.
