Stories

  • Piracy on the Ocean's Bottom · 20 pages

The Sub-Mariner looks into the mysterious sinking of U.S. naval vessels off the Eastern Coast, each of them carrying a fortune in gold shipments. But he discovers a crazed doctor who has found an underground volcano that preserved the bodies of dead pirates of days gone by, whom he has been able to revive by a radioactive substance so they can go out and loot ships again after they have sunk.

  • The Firing Squad · 20 pages

A blind fit of rage by Danny Poll leads to his slugging a U.S. Army officer over Danny's fiance, a court martial and 15 years in solitary. After his release, he forms a military-like firing squad, used to carry out his revenge against the soldier (now a Major) whom he had slugged and testified against him in court!

  • Mercy Flight · 2 pages

A note sent by model plane for help in turn helps to save several lives.

  • Death 'Round the Bend · 18 pages

The murder of a man by the "ghost of Rindigo Jones" leads Prince Namor smack dab into a mystery fostered by a curse laid on Jones many years before, and gold secreted aboard the "Water Witch" steamboat.

  • Pop's Woppers · 2 pages

Pop and a fellow cop have to deal with the practical jokes being pulled on them by local kids.
