Lobo is assigned to work with Agent Layla and her team to investigate a rift in space. They find a weird space vessel that appears to be organic and board it, accidentally reviving a group of giant deadly parasites. Most of the crew are slaughtered, but when Layla is attacked she gains superpowers. Lobo destroys the vessel but the parasites escape and are drifting toward Earth.
