Work learns that Kahless has converted Alexander to his Red Path army, and Worf and Alexander battle while Sisko confronts Kahless. Meanwhile in orbit, the Theseus is under attack by Romulan warships and B'Elanna and Tom lead the Defiant to aid the Theseus. They are surprised to learn who is commanding the Romulan ships against them.
