Stories

  • Chapter One: The Christmas That Never Was · 4 pages

In an alternate universe, Donald Duck fails to get himself to his estranged Uncle Scrooge's Bear Mountain cabin for the legendary "Christmas on Bear Mountain" as was told by Carl Barks in Four Color (Dell, 1942 Series) #178 (December 1947). https://www.comics.org/issue/5672/ As a result, an already angry and resentful Scrooge who "hates everybody" turns even more inward and bitter. He discovers the existence of other parallel worlds, with other Scrooges and their #1 Dimes, and vows to become "...the richest duck on ALL the worlds!!!"

  • Chapter Two: Lord of the Dimes · 9 pages

Scrooge and the boys (somehow sans Donald) return from a typical adventure to find his Money Bin being ripped from its foundation and hauled upward into an interdimensional portal. Scrooge easily handles the Beagle Boys, who are mere accessories to this grandest of grand thefts, but is quickly bested by the mastermind behind the Bin burglary - Scrooge-Above-All, who snatches "our" Scrooge's #1 Dime and vanishes with it and the Bin back to his own universe. With the help of Gyro and an artifact seized from Magica De Spell, Scrooge impulsively jumps into the foreboding universe.

  • Chapter Three: Assault on the All-Bin · 15 pages

Scrooge-Above-All rules a dystopian Duckburg, backed by the omnipresence of many different alternate universe Beagle Boys who terrorize its citizens. He lives in "a Money Bin so enormous it blocked out the sun." A bin incredibly large enough to hold the Money Bins of all the other alternate universe Scrooges within its massive structure. "Our Scrooge", with the help of "The Council of Gyros", gathers together the Scrooges from different universes to battle Scrooge-Above-All and his multidimensional Beagles. The tide turns in "Our Scrooge's" favor when the Gyros unleash his ace-in-the-hole.

  • Epilogue: The Happiest Ducks in the Multiverse · 2 pages

Defeated, but now infinitely wiser, the former Scrooge-Above-All joins the multiversal McDuck family for the Christmas celebration he never had.

  • Christmas on Bear Mountain · 20 pages

Donald's heretofore unknown stingy old Uncle Scrooge McDuck lets the Ducks use his mountain cabin for the Christmas holidays, planning to test Donald's bravery by coming to the cabin disguised as a bear. However, two real bears--a mother and her cub--turn up at the cabin soon after the Ducks' arrival.
