Publisher’s description
Everyone wants Ivan, the Messenger. A renegade Lord of Hell wants him to deliver a vital message to an undisclosed contact on Earth. A pair of demons wants him to rescue them from exile. The federal mayor of New York wants him captured and eliminated, not necessarily in that order. The Devil just wants him dead and in Hell. Again. What does Ivan want? A plate of scrambled eggs and a clue about what the message he's supposed to deliver is, anyway. "The Messenger" Part Three (of 4), It's a tale of two Cleos, as everyone's favorite trigger-happy demoness takes on the National Guard while her Second Soul-Li'l Cleo-tries to get Ivan safely across the street. Care to guess as to who's got the harder job? All this, and a look at the downside of deals with the Devil. Recommended for readers and fans of Red Star, Midnight Nation, Dark Angel and sleeping past eleven in the morning.
