The Linear Men realize that the universe is ceasing to exist, from the end of time backwards and seek to help The Flash in the 64th century and Green Lantern, as Pol Manning, in 5700 AD stop it. Back in the present, Batman and Superman summon the superhero community, but Hawkman seems to splinter into many Hawkmen, as Waverider appears with Wally’s empty Flash costume. Meanwhile, at Vanishing Point, Extant has overcome the remaining Linear Men.

    As The Time Trapper explains to Rokk Krinn how he has interfered in many of the events of Legion's history, he reveals that he is also Rokk Krinn, and that he and the SW6 Legionnaires are actually alternate timeline versions of the older Legionnaires. Meanwhile, the rest of the Legion fight Mordru and Glorith, who have the power of The Infinite Man, driving Mordru into the pocket universe. Afterwards, Valor, Shadow Lass, and Superboy vanish from existence.

Back at Vanishing Point, Extant battles the JSA, killing The Atom, Hourman, and Dr. Mid-Nite, aging Wildcat and Sandman, and separating the Nelsons from the Dr. Fate mantle. Waverider confronts Extant, who reveals a look very similar to Waverider's.
