    Failsafe helps Amanda Waller to use meta-humans to test a new power device that is part of her master plan.

    Waller sends Dreamer and Deadeye to capture Jay Nakamura. Jay is surprised to find that Dreamer is working for Waller, and blames her for being complicit in his mother's death.

    With the help of Failsafe and the Brainiac Queen, Amanda Waller begins her assault on the world's heroes by broadcasting AI generated images of the heroes attacking innocent people to turn public sentiment against them, and then using Amazos to drain the heroes of their powers.

  • Chapter Two: Resistance · 32 pages

    With many heroes imprisoned by Amanda Waller, the remaining heroes re-group at the Fortress of Solitude where they plan their next move. However, they are attacked by the Brainiac Queen, Paradise Lost, and Jon Kent who is being controlled by the Brainiac Queen.

  • Chapter Three: Last Stand · 32 pages

    On the run, the heroes retreat to Themyscira, where Nightwing and Barda have differing opinions on how to deal with Waller's most dangerous weapon, Jon Kent, who is under the control of the Brainiac Queen. Failsafe declares Waller's intentions to world leaders, but also must deal with a slight programming flaw in the Team VII robots. Red Tornado, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman attempt to free the Time Commander from the Suicide Squad. Barry Allen receives a tip from a mysterious ally.

  • Chapter Four: Showdown · 32 pages

    The heroes prepare for a final counterstrike against Amanda Waller. The heroes have a plan to disable the Amazo robots and restore their powers, and Barry and Hal must seal the barrier to the Multiverse to prevent Waller from bringing in reinforcements. Green Arrow's role is revealed, and a hero returns from the dead to stop Waller once and for all.
