- The Ballad of Rodney and June, Part 1 of 2 · 22 pages
During the war with the Arabians, an injured wooden soldier falls in love with the camp’s woodcarver, a lovely wooden maiden. Writing a letter to his father about a request born of that love proves disastrous for the two.
Publisher’s description
Deep within the Arabian lands, one small group of goblins and a few of the elite wooden soldiers hold off one attack after another. But this isn't a war story. It's a love story. When two offspring of the Sacred Grove suddenly discover they've got feelings for each other, how do they express it?
