- Rick and Morty: The End Part 5: Twelve Maybe-Ricks! · 20 pages
Last issue the jurors’ brains, as well as Rick’s, Morty’s, and the judge’s, were connected by a VR memory-replay device to absorb witness testimony. Rick seized the opportunity to escape and hide by “jumping his consciousness” into one of the other connected brains, leaving his body an empty shell. When no one will admit to being Rick’s “vessel”, the judge orders the jurors and Morty to “out” the entity harboring Rick’s consciousness among themselves – or ALL will be hyper-executed.
Publisher’s description
From the twisted mind of Daniel Kibblesmith (Loki, Darkwing Duck) and the unceasing brush of Jarrett Williams (Super Pro KO!) comes a mind-bending, body swapping, courtroom disaster of Rick and Morty proportions! Rick Sanchez, the smartest man in the universe, is on trial for his life, and his latest tactic to avoid the gallows is to swap bodies with one of the jurors! But just to keep them guessing, he swaps EVERYONE’s bodies! How long can he evade capture trapped in a room with 12 angry, uh, humanoids? It’s literally a who’s who of the Rick and Morty universe! GET IT?!
