Stories

  • Captured by the Creature King! · 22 pages

As the result of a crash, Space Ghost, Jan, Jace, and Blip are marooned on the planet of an evolved primate called the Creature King, where abandoned Robo Corp technology has evolved beasts to a higher (yet still grotesque and savage) form of dominant life. The Robo Corp "Encephalo Ray" also has a profound effect on our heroes as well, devolving the humans to a state of savagery and Blip the chimp into an articulate strategic genius. As Space Ghost and Jan are forced into gladiatorial combat by the Creature King and his telepathic crown it's up to Blip and a mostly-savage Jace to save the day.

  • Old Scores to Settle! · 22 pages

As begun last issue, we get an additional flashback to the tragic events that shaped a man named "Dax" into the grimly dedicated protector known as Space Ghost - the deaths of his wife and daughter and the devastation of the Planet Vector at the hands of a vengeful Metallus. Metallus' robots attack and hijack a cargo vessel carrying a "negatron bomb". Responding to the distress call, Space Ghost recognizes the robots from Metallus' raid on Planet Vector and pursues Metallus with a grim and determined vengeance. Metallus takes his war to the Galactic Federation that once court-martialed him.

  • You Can't Kill a Ghost! · 22 pages

With Space Ghost presumed dead at the hands of Metallus, Jan, Jace, and Blip carry on rescuing the people of the Galactic Federation Homeworld and find an unexpected way to take the fight to Metallus' war-making flagship. Aboard the attacking craft, they are joined by a surprise ally - Space Ghost himself, who is committing clandestine acts of sabotage and tearing through Metallus' robot forces as if they were paper, driven to extreme avenging violence over Metallus' devastation of the Planet Vector and the killing of Space Ghost's civilian family.

  • Space Ghost Meets Space Spectre! · 22 pages

From a catastrophic future comes Space Spectre to right the mistakes of weakness on the part of the Ghost Team that led to the deaths of "untold trillions". Space Spectre is a nightmarish analog to Space Ghost who kills without hesitation to accomplish his goals, primary of which is to stop Robo Corp's "Project Ultima" and the disaster its launch will ultimately bring. Space Ghost and his team intervene on the side of their usual enemy Ibal, but are bested by Space Spectre. Who is Space Spectre, and what traumas drive him? The first of those questions is answered on the next-to-last page.

  • Enter the Council of Doom! · 22 pages

A rift develops between Space Ghost and his wards, Jan and Jace, resulting in the kids taking Blip and leaving the Ghost Planet. No sooner than that happens than a newly-formed Council of Doom made up of six of Space Ghost's greatest enemies shows up to bring him to his knees. This Council of Doom was brought together by Doctor Xander Ibal, the evil CEO of Robo Corp, to kill Space Ghost and recover Blip whom Ibal regards as Robo Corp property. Accidently hearing sounds of the attack over their space coupe radio, Jan and Jace return to help Space Ghost, but Blip is taken by Ibal.

  • Exit the Council of Doom! · 22 pages

With Blip (see Notes) in Doctor Ibal's possession, Robo Corp's "Project Ultima" is initiated. The newly-formed Council of Doom, made up of six of Space Ghost's greatest enemies and brought together by Ibal, has defeated Space Ghost and is ready to destroy the Ghost Planet. Jan and Jace return to rally Space Ghost and exploit the Council's key weakness: "They're all SUPERVILLAINS, remember? They're used to following THEIR OWN AGENDA - never thinking of anyone else [and have] never learned to fight together as a team". As the Council fractures due to divisiveness, Ibal unleashes Project Ultima.

  • The ULTIMA-te Solution! · 30 pages

Ultima, a being planning to conquer the universe with mind control, emerges from behind his "puppets", Robo Corp CEO Doctor Xander Ibal and the newly-formed Council of Doom, once Ibal has unleashed his "Project Ultima" - a massive fleet of satellites to carry and broadcast Ultima's mind control waves across the galaxy. Our heroes must defeat Ibal and the Council of Doom and destroy the source of the subjugating signals before facing an unexpected issue from Jan and Jace's past.
