  • Gangor the Monster · 16 pages

Astro Boy and Professor Bunsen board the "Empress of the Seas" in Trinidad to travel to New York. The villain "Patch" brings 47 disguised wrestling robots on board, which are revealed to assemble into the horned dragon robot "Gangor." When he demands a purchase price of ten million dollars from a trio of underworld characters, he is gunned down, and Gangor goes on a rampage. Astro Boy goes overboard in a sticky blob, eventually being freed by attacking sharks. On his way back, he saves Dr. Elefun from a crashing search helicopter, and then defeats Gangor on a nearby island. Patch survives.

  • Attack of the Mud People · 16 pages

At night, the "Terror Twins" build mud creatures with a mold, an electro-energizer beam, and soil from "Desolate Stretch." The next morning, a nearby farmer's family is attacked by a pair of giant mud creatures, which pursue them to the city, where they prove immune to the bullets of police. Astro Boy easily them up only to have them reform, and he eventually collapses with his mechanisms clogged. The twins demand a five million dollar ransom. Repaired, Astro Boy discovers and fights more creatures, eventually seeding the clouds with dry ice to wash away the creatures and capture the twins.
