Rampage stops by the Champions' offices to deliver a message about their teammate, the Black Widow. Instead, his exo-skeleton explodes. Then the Champions split up: Ghost Rider takes Rampage to the hospital, Iceman and Ivan search for Natasha, and Hercules and the Angel prepare for a press conference introducing the Champions to the world. But the conference is interrupted by the arrival of the Griffin, the Titanium Man and the Crimson Dynamo.
