Stories

  • The Hikers · 8 pages

Donald is set for his annual lodge visit to Hardscrabble Lodge, for a week of drinking and card playing, but first has to discourage Daisy from joining him. He tries to do this via a long hike in the woods, but Clarabelle clues Daisy in to the scam and they turn the tables. Donald is beat from the hike and Daisy further humiliates him by showing up as a waitress at the lodge.

  • The Cannon Caper · 5 pages

Donald is chosen to get a cannon moved from storage to the Town Hall for a Founders' Day play and of course runs into all sorts of problems and expenses.

  • The Brush-Off · 6 pages

Donald is hypnotized while watching a TV show featuring Professor Wiseman and becomes an aggressive door-to-door salesman. He is successful because he unknowingly hypnotizes his customers until the professor snaps him out of it.

  • In a Jam · 6 pages

Daisy's new neighbor is great at making jams and jellies, so Daisy gets jealous and tries the same. Donald and the boys try some subterfuge to give her confidence but her efforts taste horrible.
