Conan is hired by the beautiful twins Sabrina and Saroya to rob Wazir Hassan Hassad Khan who lives on an isolated island in the Vilayet Sea. Before they have a chance to leave, Conan is apprehended by the Zamboulan city guard; as a Zuagir warchief, he has a substantial price on his head. The twins rescue him, but ultimately they betray him to Hassan Hassad Khan, who wants to hunt a human. Conan kills him, and on the way home, the twins are eaten by a sea monster.

Publisher’s description

In this issue: "Isle of the Hunter" by Michael Fleisher, John Buscema and Rudy Nebres "Alone, unarmed, Conan awakes on a desert isle laiden with deadly traps, packs of wild killers, and a madman hell-bent on claiming the title of the world's greatest hunter. Between Conan and freedom is the booby-trapped isle, the monstrous sea-beast that prowls the waters around the island, and two beautiful, enigmatic girls who at least seem to be on his side." "The Dark Stranger" by Alan Zelenetz and Pablo Marcos "A bystander's point of view after the battle, as a bone-weary Cimmerian mercenary unexpectedly drops by the local tavern at Shadizar. A set of finely-rendered full page pinups." Who are the villainous Sabrina and Saroya? Conan finds out in this brush with death.
