- New Krypton Part 10: Birth of a Nation · 24 pages
Luthor and General Lane discuss the Kryptonian situation. The battle has begun over Kandor. The heroes have some success against the Kryptonians, but suddenly the city is dislodged from the Arctic ice, a dome appears over it, and all the Kandorians enter it (with Supergirl too). The city then takes off into space, grows crystals under it, and forms a planet, settling in orbit opposite to Earth's orbit around the sun. With the immediate threat gone, Superman visits with his family in Smallville. Agent Liberty spies on Luthor and General Lane, but is detected and killed by Superwoman. Supergirl is assigned quarters on New Krypton by Alura, but Alura ends up discussing her daughter with Zod, Ursa, and Non.
Publisher’s description
The "New Krypton" finale and a "Faces of Evil" issue! The rapidly rising tensions between the people of Kandor and Earth can only lead to expulsion or war! But even as the governments of Earth begin passing anti-Kryptonian laws, Superman's people have plans of their own--beyond anything you can imagine! Writer Geoff Johns and artist Pete Woods wrap up this cosmically important chapter in Superman's life by introducing a major change to The Man of Steel's status quo!
