Stories

  • The Shark Strikes! · 12 pages
  • Trophies of Terror · 10 pages

Namora wins a swimming contest but the criminal known as “Spectacles" steals her silver trophy. While trying to get it back, Namora and Namor learn that the famous silversmith Enrico Laredo is missing. A clue in the Daily Bugle leads them to Rolland Galleries where they find Spectacles selling some rare coins to a shady collector. Spectacles escapes but the coins he leaves behind turn out to be exceptional counterfeits — except that each one contains Spectacles' address, where Namor and Namora apprehend the criminals and free Laredo.

  • Marked Money · 2 pages
  • Reptile's Revenge! · 7 pages

The Torch & Toro reminisce about a previous case. On a rich estate in the Louisiana Bayou, Webster warns away Gus for "molesting" his fiancee Chloe. But on their wedding day, a creature called The Reptile begins a reign of terror and murder, warning all to abandon the estate. Answering Chloe's telegram, the Torch and Toro investigate, and find that it's not all as obvious as it seems.
