Stories

  • Out of Place · 22 pages

When debate over Gog's mission splits the JSA into two factions and turns violent, Magog sends those opposed to Gog back to JSA Headquarters. But soon after arriving home, those members are shocked by the return from Earth-2 of Power Girl, with Earth-2's Justice Society Infinity in hot pursuit.

  • Earth Bound · 22 pages

The members of Justice Society Infinity snatch Power Girl and return to Earth-2, but the JSA follows right behind. Though Earth-2's Power Girl thinks the JSA's Power Girl holds the key to her missing cousin, only Starman can explain his teammate's true place in the history of the multiverses.

  • Kingdom Come Special: Superman · 23 pages

Stargirl gets Superman to open up about the events that preceded his arrival. When she mentions that his words echo The Book of Revelation, Superman seeks out this world's Norman McCay. But before he gets to him, he is distracted by an explosion at the Daily Planet offices which is eerily familiar to him. He then visits McCay, but receives little comfort. Later, Superman is met by Lois Lane. When he mentions that his wife's last advice to him were that he not to lose Clark, Lois asks when he was last Clark. He replies that he has not been Clark since that day and never will be again.

  • Magog, The Real Me · 30 pages

When Magog hears a report of his old unit nearby in Africa, he leaves Gog and the JSAers walking with Gog towards Kahndaq. As he brutally completes his unit's mission, he recalls the incidents in his life that brought him to this point, including finding an artifact looted from the Baghdad Museum which burrowed into his skin and left him with energy powers. The mission complete, Magog rejoins Gog and his teammates on the march towards Kahndaq.

  • The Secret Origin of Starman · 6 pages

As Starman cleans out his padded cell, he relates to his doctor how he gained his power due to being born on a space observatory, how he joined the Legion and met Dream Girl, but was expelled when he killed Kenz Nuhor in self-defense, and how years later he came to the present on a mysterious mission for the Legions of three worlds.

  • The Kingdom · 36 pages

When Gog pauses for a day of rest, Damage returns to New York to spread the good news about Gog's work. Stargirl recruits Atom-Smasher to pound some sense into Damage, but Damage refuses to see the danger in his blind faith. Meanwhile, Sandman discovers that Gog presents a very real and imminent threat to the planet itself.

  • Saints and Sinners · 20 pages

The full force of the JSA joins the members following Gog and reveals to them that if the god is allowed to remain on Earth one more day, he will bond with the planet so that if he ever leaves it in the future, Earth will be destroyed. When the JSA unites to dislodge Gog from the planet, the angry god takes back the blessings he previously bestowed on the JSAers.

  • Thy Will Be Done · 24 pages

Superman severs Gog's head and with Starman's help binds the god to the Source Wall. Realizing he has unfinished business on his own world, Superman asks Starman to send him back home to the precise moment and place Starman originally took him from. While the JSA recovers from the fight with Gog, Superman fulfills his destiny on his own world.
