In the first moments after Gordon's shooting, officers on the scene find Catwoman, but further investigation seems to clear her. Barbara is brought to the hospital and sends out a call as Oracle to her hero comrades. Batman nearly loses control when he receives the news while he and Nightwing are fighting the Joker's gang. The Bat-Family joins Barbara to keep vigil at her unconscious father's bedside while GCPD detectives work the case.
