Deadpool is hired by AIM to invade the Savage Land and capture a deadly new toxin for them before it falls into the hands of Hydra. After making a hard landing and encountering Ka-Zar, Deadpool meets up with his AIM contact, a beautiful blonde doctor, and they try to locate the toxin. Their search leads them to a tribe of cannibals who quickly capture our hero. Deadpool learns that the item he is supposed to be stealing from them looks like a decomposed head: his own.
- Why Is It to Save Me, I Must Kill You · 20 pages
In order for Killebrew to create a cure for Deadpool's condition, Deadpool needs to get a sample of blood from the Hulk. The Hulk turns out not to be too fond of this idea and the fight is on. Deadpool is successful, however, and Killebrew injects him with a serum that should restore the merc with a mouth back to a healthy condition.
Publisher’s description
It’s the Merc with two mouths! Deadpool travels to the Savage Land to retrieve what might be the deadliest bio-weapon the universe has ever seen. What is this deadly object? Well, Deadpool's employer is being a little vague about that. Let’s just say when the secret is finally revealed, it's enough to throw even the Merc with two Mouths for a loop…Oh hell, we can’t keep a secret, it’s the severed-but-still-hungry head of the Marvel Zombies Deadpool! To save the universe, Deadpool must team up with himself to dodge Hydra operatives, dinosaurs, cavemen and zombie cavemen as he attempts to take his not-so-precious cargo back where it came from: the Marvel Zombies Universe.
