Stories

  • Lois Lane, Cavegirl! · 12 pages

Superman finds what appears to be a real-live caveman frozen in an iceberg. Gob-Gob soon becomes all the rage in the better social circles and Lois adopts him as arm candy to make Clark Kent jealous (when Perry gives her a raise).

  • The Derelict from the Deeps! · 6 pages

Bill investigates a derelict ship that seems to be powered. The captain, one Shanghai, captures Congo Bill and his friend "Bad News" Haley, but falls overboard. Haley throws him a life jacket, which caused Shanghai to sink. In checking, Bill finds the life jackets stuffed with stolen gold bars.

  • The Flying Carpet! · 6 pages

Bill Johnson is duped into buying a supposed magic carpet. Zatara is performing at a charity benefit, and is handed donations of jewels and cash. A bird tells him of the 'magic' carpet nearby. Zatara sprouts wings and flies to the spot, where he animates the carpet, but thieves knock Bill out and steal it. Zatara follows them and uses the carpet to wrap up a group of rogues.

  • The Earth Doom! · 8 pages

The year is 1988. Col. Tommy Tomorrow and his crew embark on a seemingly senseless and dangerous tour of the solar system. In reality, Tommy must find Element #99 before the rays from a nova make everyone on Earth blind.

  • The Greatest Peril of the Sea · 2 pages
  • Willy · 1 pages
  • The Desperadoes of Doom! · Vigilante · 8 pages

The Vigilante is bitten by a rattlesnake, which causes him to hallucinate. In his delirium he battles with the greatest villains of the Old West.
