Stories

  • Down with the Ship · 22 pages

During this issue, Batman narrates his file on Batgirl. In a bar, Batman and Batgirl investigate a boat that left several crew men shot. They find out that the boat is carrying kidnapped Gothamites to be sold as slaves in the Middle East. Meanwhile, the victims have rigged the boat to explode unless they're released, but the bomb goes off by accident. The crew escapes as Batman & Batgirl arrive. They rush to save them, but Batgirl intentionally gets herself trapped. Batman tells her she must choose to save herself, and commit to living in order to work with him.

  • Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder · 8 pages

Batman and Robin take down the Thick & Thin gang, but the criminals refuse to give up their connection to a drug shipment. They keep them under constant surveillance, so when they stop, the Lyman brothers make their move. But it was Batman impersonating one of the brothers, and the other one leads them right to the shipment.
