Stories
- The Black Ring Part Four · 20 pages
Luthor and his team continue their quest for the Black Ring energy, this time to Uganda, where they are being monitored by Gorilla Grodd. Grodd sends his apes to kidnap RoboLois, discovering she's a robot. He then attacks the team directly, beheading Luthor with his combat spoon and eating his head; but he finds it's another robot. Instead, Luthor has infiltrated Grodd's headquarters, where a black sphere is. After getting what they want, they escape in a chopper, but Grodd returns in time to shoot Luthor with a raygun rifle, and Luthor falls to a likely death.
- Jimmy Olsen's Big Week Day One · 10 pages
After looking back at a time he became a genie to defeat the Great Djinni, Jimmy plays the Superman video game while being dumped by Chloe Sullivan. His friends try to cheer him up by taking him to a club, but they get bumped from their table by Sebastien Mallory, who is accompanied by Chloe (who is doing a story on him). Jimmy and Sebastien try to one-up each other, but Jimmy brags he will stop an alien invasion, which just started as they were talking.
