Publisher’s description

Amid the icy wastes of the Brumal Sea, Red Morden awakens on the hot sands of a tropical oasis in the shadow of a monster born of black magic and the twisting, tangled wall of evil that lies deep in the island's jungle. There, in the heart of a growing darkness, Morden must pit his courage and his axe against beasts that walk as men, power mad wizards twisted by sorcery and the murderous, intoxicating singing of the vines. Following his quest for a mysterious talisman that will save his soul, Red Morden has come…to the Isle of Thorns!
