Stories

  • Thunderjet! · 8 pages

Captain Wood and his squadron go on a mission to destroy a North Korean troop train.

  • Caesar! · 7 pages

After Germany double-crosses Caesar, the Roman Army conquers that land, killing all the men, women and children in retaliation, then follows the same pattern against a town in France, which surrendered. By 44 B.C., Caesar was all powerful --- too powerful to the liking of the Roman Senate, and so they decide to kill Caesar.

  • Tubridy's Triumph · 1 pages

Corporal Tubridy sits and watches new recruits marching along the parade grounds with Private Clements, thinking of his mother, but also of the time when he was caught by the Maharajah's men, all robbers at heart, for bagging five of the Maharajah's peacocks. Forced to stay one week, Tubridy eventually was allowed to return to his home base, minus his rifle, which the Corporal vowed to get back.

  • Chickamauga! · 6 pages

It was September 19, 1863, and the Northern troops were trying to cut off Chattanooga from the Southern forces, when both sides meet at a place called Chickamauga Creek. In a series of snafus, the North eventually loses the battle, and General Brannan's division was wiped out in ten months.

  • Night Patrol! · 7 pages

Pappy is taking out a night patrol of replacements to gauge the strength of enemy forces near Taegu, and they discover a tremendous number. Just when they get set to return to base with the information, the enemy attacks, and all make it back alive except for two.
