Stories

  • The Triad · Forgotten Villains; Forgotten Heroes · 24 pages

  • Crisis Point!, Chapter I: "Shanghaied Into Hyperspace!" · 10 pages

The Justice Society is shanghaied into space by Gootsden's rockets, but something causes them to vanish.

  • Crisis Point!, Chapter II: Worlds in Collision · 28 pages

The Crisis hits Earth-Two as Harbinger recruits Firebrand, as shown in Crisis on Infinite Earths #1. Harbinger's efforts to return to the Monitor's satellite sends the Justice Society's rockets to different dimensional versions of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Johnny Chambers (Johnny Quick) marries Libby Lawrence (Liberty Belle). Uncle Sam tries to recruit more heroes to the Freedom Fighters by telling them he needs them on Earth-X to win World War II, lest all be lost. While battling Nazi scientists, Commander Steel is accidentally transported to Earth-One.

  • Monster Society of Evil! · 22 pages

Mister Mind convenes a new Monster Society of Evil, including Oom, Mister Who, Nyola, and Ramulus (nee Nightshade, a Sandman villain). The search for the JSA also begins here, as Sandy and Hawkgirl arrive at a damaged JSA headquarters, only to see the Monster Society inside, and wonder what has become of the JSAers, since they only see a captured Dr. Fate and Hourman inside as well. Meanwhile, Liberty Belle, Green Lantern and Johnny Quick are transported to Earth-S.

  • From Fear to Eternity! · 16 pages

The Crisis continues to hit Earth-2 as Liberty Belle, Johnny Quick, and Green Lantern (Alan Scott) are tossed over into Earth-S, as the Crisis begins to also hit it. Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) helps them defeat the shadow demons attacking, and Liberty Belle and Johnny Quick honeymoon after their marriage back on Earth-2. The 3 Squadroners return to their world via The Rock of Eternity with the wizard Shazam's help, but Cap stays behind as he's not to know about the multiverse yet at the time.

  • "Shanghaied into Hyperspace!" Interlude One · 7 pages

As a result of the anti-matter destruction of the Crisis opening up dimensional warps, Hawkman lands on an other-dimensional Saturn and helps the ruling families avoid a civil war.

  • Worlds in Turmoil · 23 pages

The Dummy joins the Monster Society as they fight Superman. The 3 Squadroners (Green Lantern, Johnny Quick, Liberty Belle) return from Earth-S in time to help out against the Monster Society's attack.

  • The Crisis Comes to 1942! (and Vice Versa) · 23 pages

The Monster Society is taken over by Oom, as he becomes the new leader, tossing Mr. Mind's craft into space, as it later lands on Earth-S. Oom is destroyed and the Monster Society (renamed Society of Oom by Oom himself) is defeated by the Squadron when the Dummy tells Green Lantern to focus his ring on Oom's chest to extract the crimson jewel buried inside his body.

  • Crisis at Canaveral · 16 pages

Firebrand is aboard the Monitor's satellite (parallelling events from Crisis 5), as her next mission is to stop a rocket from launching into space with the Ultra-Humanite (in Ape form) on Earth-2 in 1985 with a destructive device on board. She is joined by several of history's greatest heroes throughout time from Earths 1 and 2 on this mission. She fails to stop the rocket from launching, but destroys the device.

  • "Shanghaied into Hyperspace!" Interlude Two · 6 pages

The Sandman crashes on Uranus and helps the people there stop the evil Kafta.

  • The Sinister Secret of the Sixth Sense! · 19 pages

The Seven Soldiers of Victory (aka Law's Legionnaires) face off against the Sense-Master as he recruits 5 special crooks, each with a 'heightened' sense that would allow them to steal 5 special jewels that would power his special juggernaut machine once brought together.

  • "Shanghaied into Hyperspace!" Interlude Three · 5 pages

Dr. Mid-Night lands on Neptune and saves the creatures there from a plague.

  • Kaleidoscope · 4 pages

Dr. Occult is called in to search for the still-missing JSA'ers by the Squadron, and finds 3 of them (Wonder Woman, Atom, Starman) before his powers are overloaded. The Squadron now has hope that they are still alive even as the red skies continue to exist on Earth-2.

  • "Shanghaied into Hyperspace!" Interlude Six · 6 pages
  • I Sing the Body Robotic · 16 pages

As the Crisis rages on, Mekanique appears in 1942 on Earth-2, after her battle with the JSA/Infinity inc./JLA teams in 1985 on Earth-1, damaged, without prior knowledge of her battle with them. Robotman then takes her to his private lab to repair her.

  • "Shanghaied into Hyperspace!" Interlude Seven · 6 pages
  • Out of the Ashes... Mekanique! · 16 pages

As the Crisis rages on, the All-Stars meet to discuss Mekanique's fate while she's in Robotman's lab. Although through a majority vote they want her at the Perisphere headquarters, Robotman refuses to return her, and a contingent go to collect her, but thanks to Robotman's repairs, she regains consciousness, with the All-Stars unaware of her true intentions.

The missing JSA'ers return from hyperspace and loose ends from Crisis are tied up as Mekanique explains her mission to the All-Stars, who aid her, not knowing that it would change the future she came from (and in essence start the post-Crisis history for the Squadron on the single earth).

  • Storm Warning · 24 pages

  • A Long Night's Journey into Day · Firehawk · 23 pages

Because of Crisis time disruptions, Firehawk and Wonder Girl end up in 1776 and help fight the British forces.

  • 5 · 23 pages

After John Stewart and Katma Tui help Replikon find a new home, they return to Earth-1 as the Crisis is beginning. Stewart is summmoned to the Monitor by Harbinger, but Katma refuses to let him go, and a fight almost ensues, but John assures her everything will be alright. Meanwhile, the recovered Guy Gardner has made his way to Abin Sur's grave, where he fights with Hal Jordan before a Guardian appears.

  • 4 · 23 pages

Gardner is granted a ring by a militant minority faction of the Guardians (as seen in Crisis on Infinite Earths (DC, 1985 series) #9). Gardner develops his peculiar attitude problem, presumably a result of his brain injury at Sinestro's hands in the antimatter universe (Green Lantern (DC, 1976 series) #116 and #123) as the Guardians were slowly healing him to full recovery (behind the scenes revealed this issue). Gardner's history is recapped, and he gets his new tough-guy costume.

  • 3 · 22 pages

Guy Gardner recreates The Shark per the Guardian's instructions. The Shark hunts for Hal Jordan but John Stewart defeats him, while Katma Tui attempts to find out what has happened to her sector during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

  • 2 · 22 pages

Guy gathers an army of villains per the orders of the Guardians. John and Katma confront Guy, but before they can stop him, Hal arrives with a ring granted to him by a Guardian for him to aide Guy on his mission.

  • 1 · 18 pages

Sinestro goes to OA alongside John Stewart and Katma Tui to warn the surviving Guardians of the renegade Guardians' plan (killed in Crisis on Infinite Earths (DC, 1985 series) #9 and recapped in Green Lantern (DC, 1976 series) #195). At first he isn't believed by them, until a possessed Arisia (by the Main Power Battery) tells them what he speaks is true. The entire surviving Green Lantern Corps then head to the antimatter universe to stop the plan, while Sinestro is placed in a cell.

  • 0 · 20 pages

The entire Green Lantern Corps faces off against Guy Gardner's group on Qward's moon in the antimatter universe, which if destroyed, would make the Antimonitor become even more powerful. The Corps stops the plan, but at the cost of several Lanterns, one of whom is Tomar-Re. With his dying breath, Tomar gives his ring to John Stewart and Abin Sur's ring is returned to Hal Jordan, who once again becomes a Green Lantern.
